American sterling silver sugar caster with beautiful Gothic open work design and cobalt blue glass insert, by Graff, Washbourne & Dunn of New York City, c.1910. This elegant shaker is 6 3/4" tall, 3" in diameter, silver weight is 150 grams or 4.8 ozs Troy. Monogrammed FMA in an ornate period script in the center of the body within an ornate engraved wreath cartouche. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. The cobalt glass insert is without defects.
