American coin silver oval salver by Lincoln and Foss of Boston, c.1850. This elegant salver has a filed of chased scrollwork, with wear to the chasing and an applied gadroon border. The salver is 9" - 12" and weighs 419 grams or 13.5 ozs. Troy. The very good original condition and detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. The soft, warm, original antique finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
