These forks are like none we have ever seen and, in spite of our best research efforts, we cannot find the form in this or any other Reed and Barton pattern. The form of the tines and pierced bowl is that of a cake fork, but the length, 4 7/8", is the size of a berry fork. They would certainly work well as berry forks, but likely were originally intended for another function. Whatever their original function, these forks are really special. Each of these ornate, floral forks is 4 7/8" long, has a gilt pierced bowl and tines and the 6 weigh a total of 80 grams or 2.6 ozs. Troy.
