English sterling silver 18th Century meat skewer by Thomas Northcote, with a full set of London Hallmarks for 1786.
This elegant and useful George III skewer has a nicely done Lion′s Head erased Crest over the inscribed family name: Morris and is 11 1/4" long, weighing 92 grams or 3 ozs. Troy.
Crested and inscribed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
