code: n1244
American coin silver Allover floral Repousse napkin ring, unmarked, but most likely made in Baltimore, c.1880. It has been carefully tested to be at least coin silver grade.
The ornate, period monogram is difficult to discern as to the order of the letters. It is likely CBI, but could be CIB.
The detail on this fabulous napkin ring is amazing and it is 2" in diameter and 1 5/8" tall, weighing a substantial 64 grams or 2 ozs. Troy.
Monogrammed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
