Superb American Aesthetic Period sterling silver salt cellars made by Tiffany & Co. of New York, c. 1885. They feature an ornate, applied border with a delightful openwork fleur de lis and poppy motif. The elegant gold vermeil interior complements their stunning and opulent design. They weigh a combined 193 grams or 6.2 Troy ounces with a diameter of 3 3/4" and 1 3/4" in height. The impeccable original condition and clear detail, with no repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. Monogrammed on their underside with GRR, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. We have two pair of these available. The price below is for one pair.
