American coin silver Gothic Window cut work and embossed bellied body napkin ring with open work, applied twisted rope rims, c.1860, monogrammed JR inside a Union Shield shaped cartouche. This large, very special napkin ring is 1 7/8" in diameter and 1 1/4" tall, weighing 25 grams. Monogrammed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.

English Sterling Silver Vinaigrette by Nathaniel Mills, having a full set of Birmingham Hallmarks for 1842. This lovely vinaigrette is 1 1/2" - 1" and 3/8" deep. The grille and lid hinges are excellent., with the gilding being fresh and bright. It weighs 20 grams.
