American sterling silver tea cup and saucer with beautiful Aesthetic floral and bird bright cut decorations, made by Duhme & Co. 1879. This beautiful cup is 5 1/2" across the handle, 4" in diameter, 2 5/8" tall, the saucer is 6 3/4" in diameter, total weight is 367 grams or 11.8 ozs Troy, the cup is inscribed Mama from Murray Christmas 1879. Inscribed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
