French 950 Sterling Silver Footed Beaker c. 1798 - 1809. maker′s mark LS, provincial 950 mark 1798 - 1809, medium guarantee mark, Paris.
This elegant and useful tapered body beaker sits on a circular, stepped foot having a gadroon border. The edge of the base has a period monogram M.S.
This late 18th Century - early 19th Century beaker is 4 7/8" tall and weighs 160 grams or 5.1 ozs. Troy.
