English Repousse Vanity Open Jar Sterling Silver 1899

English Victorian sterling silver vanity open jar, having wavy top border and two applied pockets on the sides. Body is decorated with repousse floral and scroll patterns. Made in Birmingham, 1899. Hallmarks are rubbed.

This adorable jar is 1 3/4" in bottom diameter, 2 3/4" in top diameter, 2 3/8" tall and weighs 58.5 grams or 1.88 ozs Troy.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
