Japanese sterling silver oval form patch box, having hammered lid with engraved bamboo decorations and Japanese character monogram. c. 1900-1920.

This splendid box is 3 3/8" long, 1 3/4" wide, 3/8" thick and weighs 46.2 grams or 1.49 ozs Troy.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
