English Heavy Weight Match Safe Deakin Francis Sterling Silver 1901

English heavy weight sterling silver match safe with hinged lid, having rounded rectangle form with a bright cut engraved finish. On the front, there is a round blank reserve. Safe has bail on the side. Made by Deakin & Francis, Birmingham, 1901.

This solid safe is 2 1/4" long, 1 1/2" wide, 1/2" thick and weighs 69.8 grams or 2.25 ozs Troy.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
