Danish sterling silver footed centerpiece bowl or vase, having hammered finish with flaring Cactus decorations around the foot, designed by Gundorph Albertus. Marked 700. Made by Georg Jensen & Wendelays - hallmark from 1945-1951, that was used only in the Copenhagen Georg Jensen shop.
This outstanding piece is 7 1/4" in top diameter, 2 7/8" in base diameter, 4 3/8" tall and weighs 398.3 grams or 12.84 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
