Japanese Lotus Leaf Lantern Form Shaker Sterling Silver 1960

Japanese sterling silver shaker in form of a footed round lantern, having triple lotus leaf medallion decorations on the sides and base. There is a figural decorative handle and piercings on the top. c. 1960.

This wonderful whimsical shaker is 1 1/4" in diameter, 2 3/8" tall (without the handle) and weighs 29.4 grams or 0.94 ozs Troy.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.

The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
