English Victorian era sterling silver rounded rectangle form tinder box, having two compartments with hinged lids and inset steel striker on the side. It has an engraved signature "Brian Barlow" on the front. Made by Charles & George Asprey, London, 1895.
This incredible box is 3 1/2" long, 2 3/8" wide, 3/4" thick and weighs 132 grams or 4.25 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
