French 950 sterling silver large napkin ring, decorated with applied banded rims and figural shell elements. Interior is gilt. No monograms. c. 1900. Maker's mark - "EC" under the sunrise and over a star depiction.
This marvelous napkin ring is 2" in diameter, 1 3/8" wide and weighs 45.3 grams or 1.5 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
