Bright Cut Engraved Tongs Acorn Bowls Bateman Sterling Mono

English sterling silver tongs, having acorn-shaped bowls and decorated with engraved bright-cut patterns. There is a monogram "IDS" on the top. Made by Peter, Ann & William Bateman, London 1801.

These elegant tongs are 5 3/4" long and weigh 32.9 grams or 1.06 ozs Troy.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
