19th Century Dutch Silver Engraved Peppermint Box Mono

19th century Dutch silver small peppermint box with a hinged lid, having square shape with rounded corners and pointed sides. It is decorated with engraved patterns and monogram "M. T." on the lid. c. 1860.

This ornate box is 1 7/8" wide and weighs 27.7 grams or 0.89 ozs Troy.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.

The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
