Art Nouveau German 930 sterling silver large round dresser box with gilt interior and hinged lid, having repousse scenic depictions of dancing children, and decorated with floral & scroll patterns. It has an engraved inscription "K. Gund" on the bottom. c. 1890.
This admirable box is 5" in diameter, 3" tall and weighs 361 grams or 11.65 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
