English sterling silver rye whiskey bottle tag, decorated with repousse patterns, featuring cherub head, grapes and shell motifs. Inscribed "Rye". Made by Turner & Simpson, Birmingham 1951.
This admirable tag is 2 3/8" long, 2" wide and weighs 15.9 grams or 0.51 ozs Troy. the length of chain is 7 1/4".
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
