William Gale Goblet Jennie from Frances Coin Silver 1851

American coin silver goblet with a thick pedestal base made by William Gale & Son of New York City, date marked for 1851. The cup has an applied band of beaded decorations around the rim and the rim of the base is adorned with die-rolled egg and dart decorations. The body has the presentation inscription: "Jennie from Frances" in ornate, period script and the goblet is in excellent original condition, with no repairs, removals or alterations.
