American Coin Silver Beaker Baldwin Christmas 1852

American coin silver beaker with applied grape and vine wreaths, c.1852 by Baldwin and Co, Newark, New Jersey. This handsome beaker measures 3 1/4" tall, 3" in diameter and weighs 101 grams or 3.2 ozs Troy. Inscribed Marika Henrietta Calron from her Uncle FHC December 25th 1852, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition, unfortunately a small piece of decoration is missing, clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
