Norwegian Sterling Tea Caddy David Andersen 1950

Norwegian sterling silver tea caddy or lidded jar with a blue enameled K and wood finial by David Andersen c.1950. Made for the Klaveness Shipping Line, Norway. This handsome jar measures 4 1/8" tall, 2 7/8" in diameter and weigh 144 grams or 4.6 ozs Troy. The excellent original condition save for a age crack on the wooden part of the, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. We have three of these handsome tea caddies available.
