American Colonial tablespoon in a front ribbed Hanoverian pattern by John Brevoort of New York City, c.1740 - 1750, having a period block letter monogram on the front of the handle: HHH. Weighing 51 grams or 1.6 ozs. Troy, this 18th Century American tablespoon is 7 13/16" long. There is some tip[ wear, as would be expected. Monogrammed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
