American sterling silver footed salver in a wonderful Art Deco floral design, by Tiffany and Company Silversmiths, date marked for 1943 - 1945. This spectacular salver sits on a raised circular foot, has applied open work floral handles and is 8 1/2" in diameter, 11 1/8" across the handles and weighs 460 grams or 14.8 ozs. Troy.. American sterling silver punch ladle by Frank Smith, c.1890. This wonderfully ornate, large ladle has high relief, applied grape vines, berries and leaves on the handle and gilt double-spouted bowl, with the grape vines no the handle being applied with a Lap Over Edge effect. Weighing 233 grams or 7.5 ozs. Troy, this special punch ladle is 14" long, with a double spouted bowl 4 3/4" wide. American sterling silver footed fruit or bread basket by William Gale Jr. of New York City, date marked 1866. This unusual and attractive basket has a twisted wire work oval body set on a conforming pedestal base, both of which have applied knife and dart borders. The top border has attached keyhole swing handles. The sides of the basket have applied sheet silver Union shields, one of which is monogrammed, in ornate, period script: CHP This most unusual basket weighs 500 grams and is 10 1/2" long, 8 3/4" wide and 5 1/4" tall. This darling cup measures 2 1/4" tall, 4 1/4" across the handle, 3 1/8" in diameter and weighs 99 grams or 3.2 ozs Troy. Estonian 875 standard silver oval napkin with applied rope twist borders by Edward Radus of Tallinn, Estonia, 1905 - 1923. This early Estonian Napkin ring by a silversmith who worked from the Russian times and under an Independent Estonia, is 1 3/4" long, 1 1/8" wide, 1 1/8" tall and weighs 15 grams, has an intricate, period monogram GV. American coin silver figural open salt dishes pair by Gorham Silversmiths. c.1860. Each of these delightful open salts has three cast winged lion and paw feet on a cauldron shaped body. American sterling silver porringer or baby bowl by the Kalo Shops, Park Ridge Illinois, c.1910. According to author Darcy Evon, Kalo started producing some metalwork in 1900, along with other crafts, and used the PARK RIDGE mark above only from 1909-1912. This fabulous, early Kalo porringer is 5" in diameter, 7" across the handle, 1 5/8" deep and weighs a substantial 182 grams or 5.9 ozs. Troy. The top of the tab handle is inscribed: Jean III. English sterling silver and whalebone Toddy ladle, c.1770. A nice Toddy ladle with a 1762 1/4 Guinea Love Token gold coin mounted in the center of the cauldron shaped bowl. The back of the strap handle is monogrammed in period block letters: B over W*S. The twist handle is in excellent condition, with the original silver tip present. There is the ubiquitous old repair where the handle mounts to the bowl. The 1/4 Guinea is a scarce gold coin, only being minted in 1718 and 1762 and was valued at the time @ 5 Shillings and 3 Pence. 5s 3d from 1762 is worth £30.60 using the retail price index £417.00 using average earnings. This interesting Toddy ladle is 13 1/2" long and weighs 42 grams or 1.4 ozs. Troy.

Swedish early 19th Century punch ladle with an Ebony handle, date marked Z2 for 1806, maker′s mark EAK. The town mark, as pictured, is not known. An unusual oval pan shaped bowl with a later presentation inscription that translates to: Bequest from Fornby Stora Tuna. It also has an early monogram TGL(Z). This was likely taken to America by a late 19th C. Swedish immigrant as a precious object from home. This special ladle is 15 1/2 " long, with a side spouted bowl 4 1/2" wide. The ladle weighs 132 grams or 4.2 ozs. Troy with the wooden handle. The silver is of good gauge and the engraved handle attachment point at the bowl is clean and repair free. Unmarked 18th Century sterling silver and twisted whalebone Toddy Ladle, c.1790. This elegant Toddy ladle has a 1780 1/2 Real Spanish coin in the bowl, with the ladle likely by an English maker. This special ladle still has its original silver finial and is 16 1/2" long, having a spouted bowl 3 1/4" wide and weighing 49 grams or 1.6 ozs. Troy. Each of these attractive and useful vases has a scalloped, flared rim on an urn shaped body supported by a large ball atop a narrow stam sitting on a circular, stepped base. Weighing a total of 152 grams or 4.9 ozs. Troy, each vase is 6 1/8" tall and 2 3/8" in diameter at the base. Unmarked as to silver content or maker, one of the vases has scratch marks under the base from the silversmith: #440 2/10 OLA Guaranteed to be as represented.
