This elegant bellied body coffee pot has bands of godrooning on the baser and lid, a fancy acanthus leaf decorated spout and a beautifully carved ivory handle set into ornate sockets. The side of the body has a wonderful period crest of a swan sejant on a crown with an arrrow impaled in is chest having the shaft in its mouth. The motto Haut et Bon is engraved under the crest. The English translation is High and Good. This special coffee pot is 11 1/8" tall, 7 7/8" handle to spout and weighs 1155 grams or 37 ozs. Troy.

English sterling silver Sheraton style swing handle sugar basket having its original cobalt glass liner by Robert Hennell I with a full set of London Hallmarks for 1794. The engraved handle is also Hallmarked and stays in place, with the rivets being snug and secure. The body has cutwork circular bands ands swags and a circular cartouche containing an engraved crowned standing lion surmounting a crown. This lovely Goergian sugar basket is 5 5/8" tall to the basket rim, 7 3/4" to the top of the handle, 4 3/8" in diameter, the bowl is 3 1/8a" deep and the silver weighs 231 grams or 7.4 ozs. Troy.
