Antique Spanish Colonial coin silver large mug, c.1840.
The cup has cast double scroll foliate handle, and has a foliate engravings on the faceted body with applied beaded borders.
This impressive mug is 5 3/4" across the handle, 4 1/4" in diameter, 5 1/4" tall to the tip of the handle, 4 1/2" tall and weighs 457.9 grams or 14.72 ozs Troy.
The cup is monogrammed R do de on the inside bottom of the cup, and it is monogrammed MLA on the side of the cup.
Antique Spanish colonial round serving bowl with applied decorative scroll handles, the bowl is not marked, but is carefully tested to be at least 900 silver, c.1800.
This beautiful bowl is 7" across the handles, 5 3/4" in diameter and weighs 229.4 grams or 7.4 ozs Troy.
