Norwegian 830 standard silver small round form dish, having figural depiction in bowl, featuring ship at sea and mountains on the background. Depiction is surrounded by cable chain pattern and inscribed "M/Y Stella Polaris B. D. S". Dish has ornate rim. Made by Magnus Aase, Bergen, c. 1927-1953.

This wonderful dish is 3 5/8" in diameter, 1/2" tall and weighs 24.3 grams or 0.78 ozs Troy. It has a small dent on the border.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.

The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.

Norwegian 830 standard silver pair of open salt dishes, having 3 applied floral feet and repousse floral & foliate decorations on the body. There is an intricate engraved monogram "LAM" on the side. One of the dishes has gilt interior. Marked 863. Made by J. Tostrup, 1907.

These charming dishes are 2 1/2" in diameter, 1 3/4" tall and weigh a total 121 grams or 3.9 ozs Troy.
