English Georgian sterling silver 3-piece tea set, including teapot, sugar bowl and creamer. All pieces have oval form body with 4 ball feet and decorated with engraved scroll ivy vines, eagles and foliate patterns. Creamer and bowl have applied banded top borders, rectangle handles and gilt interior. Teapot has hinged lid with carved rectangle finial and figural carved handle as well. Maker's mark "ID" - most likely John Douglas. London, 1818.

This splendid set measures:
- Teapot is 6 1/2" long, 4 1/2" wide, 12" from handle to spout, 6" tall (without the finial) and weighs 561 grams;
